This brand was first introduced in 1996 by the Romeo y Julieta and it’s name derives from an old Taino Indian word for a type of bush that can still be found on the island of Cuba today. It was used for lighting cigars at religious ceremonies chosen because it burned easily. These cigars come in only four sizes and they are characterised by tapering at both ends. They are medium to full flavoured and are of the highest quality which often makes them difficult to obtain.
